Diane founded NuSmile in 1991. Under her leadership, the company has become the world’s leading manufacturer of esthetic pediatric crowns with fifty international distributors. Throughout her career, she has had a passion for improving the clinical practice of pediatric dentistry and for pediatric dental education. Diane is deeply involved in the ongoing research of esthetic materials for crowns and other related restorative and preventative dental products. She is involved daily with the business management and research activities of NuSmile and enjoys interacting with her customers. She has been active with the ADA, the AAPD, the AAPD Foundation, and numerous other international pediatric dentistry organizations for nearly 30 years. Diane lives in Houston with her husband, Ray. Her son, Jason Johnson, is Executive Vice President of NuSmile. She has two grandsons.
Mark is responsible for new product development, customer service, information technology and U.S. sales operations for NuSmile. Joining his sister Diane Krueger at NuSmile in 2014, his 30-plus years of corporate experience in product management, business development, marketing, and sales make him ideally suited to drive NuSmile’s product innovation, as well as manage NuSmile’s business relationships with corporate dental service organizations and large group practices. Mark holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He and his wife Susan live in Houston and have three children and seven grandchildren.
Jason is currently involved in ongoing quality assurance activities for NuSmile. In addition to providing fiscal and business leadership, he is also heavily involved in product feasibility and design prior to and throughout NuSmile’s new product development process. Prior to joining NuSmile, Jason served in various manufacturing, sales, and marketing roles in the dental device industry. He has been instrumental in developing NuSmile’s Quality System and in the management of NuSmile’s manufacturing operations. Jason holds a B.A. in Communications, graduating Cum Laude from Concordia University in Austin, Texas. He and his wife Dandilei live in Houston with their two sons.
Mike Loessberg began his journey with NuSmile in 2016 and has worked in the Dental Industry for the last 12 years. Having worked for companies like Dentsply, Carestream Dental, and Henry Schein, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to the NuSmile team. In his role, Mike manages NuSmile’s Sales and Customer Service Team worldwide. In addition, Mike also oversees our Dental Service Organization and University programs. Originally from Kingsville, TX, and a graduate of Texas A&M University at Kingsville, Mike spends his free time traveling and visiting friends and family.
Greg joins the NuSmile team as an accomplished medical device executive with over 25 years of experience designing, developing, and commercializing products to repair and regenerate hard and soft tissues.Before joining NuSmile, Greg held various Research and Development roles with Collagen Matrix, LifeNet Health, NovaBone Products, Integra LifeSciences, Dentsply Sirona, and Orthovita. He specialized in products for dentistry, sports medicine, orthopedics/spine, and neurosurgery, along with plastic and reconstructive surgery applications. Greg has 21 issued patents with other applications pending, along with more than 25 publications covering various medical device technologies and related topics. Greg has a BA in Chemistry from Temple University, an MS in Chemistry from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Eastern University. He and his wife, Polina, live in Houston and have five children and one grandchild.
Gabriela (Gaby) is the Director of Manufacturing, she joined the company in 2014 as a QA/RA specialist, eventually leading the QA/RA department and the manufacturing department. As the company grew, she focused on managing the manufacturing department. Gaby develops and implements plans strengthening the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization and oversees all manufacturing, purchasing, manufacturing engineering projects and relevant maintenance. She works closely with the COO and the Product Development Director to achieve new products’ goals. Gaby has an MBA from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a BA in Economics from the University of Texas Pan American. She is married to Robbie, NuSmile’s Senior Design Manager, they have one son and another baby boy due in April 2023.
Zeina joined NuSmile in 2019 and is currently the Senior Product Manager for NuSmile and Avalon Biomed (Endodontic arm). Zeina oversees the product pipeline and the portfolio’s strategic direction, working with a cross-functional team to deliver successful results. Before transitioning to the U.S., Zeina worked as a Product Manager for Trauma at Johnson & Johnson in Dubai, UAE, where she worked on product launches, tradeshow events, and training. Her first six years of working experience were in finance and pricing with Ernst & Young, Baker Hughes, and Johnson & Johnson. Zeina received her bachelor’s degree in Finance & Management from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
Preston is the North America Sales Manager for NuSmile. Preston oversees that all pediatric residency programs, sole pediatric practitioners, Large Group Practices, and Dental Service Organization accounts are provided the education and pricing needed to implement NuSmile Products into their practices and clinics successfully. Preston joined NuSmile in 2017 as the West Coast Account manager and has continued to grow with the NuSmile family ever since. Preston holds a degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at San Antonio and brings in ten years of sales experience. Outside of NuSmile, you can find him with his family, who spend most of their time outdoors.
Meet Kyle McClannan, our esteemed Business Development Manager for all Dental Service Organization Partners and VIP Doctors at NuSmile. With a rich history of 8 years in the dental industry, Kyle is the cornerstone of our efforts to ensure our partners receive the very best of what NuSmile has to offer. He masterfully orchestrates the seamless integration of NuSmile products into our partners' practices, and his negotiation skills ensure that our pricing is always competitive and fair. A strong advocate for continuous learning, Kyle also actively promotes educational opportunities in the field. His academic foundation is rooted in a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the prestigious Texas A&M University. Beyond the professional realm, Kyle is an avid traveler and cherishes moments spent with family and friends.
Ashley is the Customer Service Supervisor for Nusmile/Avalon Biomed. She graduated from the University of Texas – San Antonio, where she received a B.S in Public Health and a minor in Business Administration. She has spent the past six years working in the dental industry before joining the NuSmile family. She loves to spend time with her fiancé and their 4 fur children in her free time.
Layne Ingram is the International Account Specialist for NuSmile and Avalon Biomed, where she provides excellent customer service to international distributors in over 50 countries. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Supply Chain Management from the Mays Business School and has experience working in Sales, Account Management, and Supply Chain. When not at work, Layne enjoys travelling the world, scuba diving, and spending time with her husband and their 2 dogs.
Alexandra (Alex) is the Associate Product Manager for NuSmile, where she assists in the planning and execution of product launches and marketing campaigns. She joined the company in 2020 as an Associate Scientist working in Product Development. During that time, she played an integral part in developing new products, modifying existing products, and led testing methods, reporting, and quality checks on all NuSmile products. Alex has a B.S in Biological Sciences with a focus in Microbiology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, trying out new restaurants, and hanging out with her family.
Zoe Kachantones is the Global Events Coordinator, where she manages all Tradeshow and Events to ensure expectations are met and achieved.Oversees post-event analysis and ensures expenses remain within the original budget. Manage all logistical responsibilities for events. Travels to and supports onsite execution and management of events. Manages sponsorship applications and schedules, including working with internal partners on upcoming sponsorship activities and fulfilling logistical requests. Zoe also oversees all pediatric residency programs in North America. Her main goal is to provide education to help implement all NuSmile’s Restorative products into programs across the country. Zoe is a born and raised Houstonian and spends her free time with friends and family in the city or by the lake.
Elena manages and oversees the Order Fulfillment team and Shipping / Receiving. She ensures that all customer orders are correctly received, processed, and delivered. In addition, she provides Customer Service to the NuSmile Customer Service Team & Manufacturing team. Elena joined NuSmile in 2011 in the manufacturing department and worked her way to Order Fulfillment Specialist, and was later promoted to order fulfillment and shipping/receiving manager.
Jasmin joined NuSmile in 2016 and is the Senior Accounting and Human Resources Manager. She brings 20-plus years of experience and oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resource, Payroll, and Information Technology. Jasmin is vital to the company, ensuring NuSmile is at its best daily. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
